The turbine was completely renewed and Kochendörfer installed a newly designed impeller with a significant increase in efficiency and performance. The impeller is completely stainless and oil-free.

Verbund & Salzburg AG, Gries power plant, Austria. In March 2019, Verbund and Salzburg AG celebrated the success of the newly constructed Gries an der Salzach power plant with a public inauguration ceremony.
The Dausenau power plant (SÜWAG AG) in Germany was completely overhauled and modernized by Kochendörfer. Complete machine overhaul incl. Gearbox, generator and renewal of the turbine governor and switchgear. Successful commissioning in 2018.
